That is so TRUE ! and thanks Anet ! Looking at the HOM after I logged in this morning was a pleasant surprize. It is just a bridge between two games but I really liked the changes made and they actually suit me just fine as is.

GWO is the place for thanks and praises. That's sort of their "thing" over there.
Well maybe my time at Guru is nearing an end. Because I am about this..| | close to being fed up with the constant stream of complaints here. Even the suggestion forum has turned into nothing more then complaints vailed as suggestions.

Take another look at that petition and you'll see Anet have resolved things for the second group, not the much larger first group.

I'm glad some of you are happy, but a character based HoM is still junk to me. I won't thank Anet for continuing to discriminate.

Heh, I wouldn't advise GWO though. I've been part of TGH, GWG and GWO, and while GWG has its problems, it's the best of those three. GWO diallows any linking posts to anywhere (really handy when you can't even link to the wiki) and is run by very self-important mods, and the community there resists new information, to the point that my notes on actual pet behaviour were often disregareded in favour of the Prima guide, since it's "official". TGH was my first home, but it went downhill fast.

I don't like GWO's principles, it is clearly insular and prevents sharing of knowledge (as an example, I tried to link the pet guide at one point and was threatened with a ban) and one can't link to any "competitor" site. I have no idea how a public resource like a wiki is a "competitor", but it's their way of making themselves feel important, and keeping their flock from reading outside opinion.

Their would be a Thank you anet if they would have fixed the main thing that got the pittion started and thats the MINI pet Monument but Thanks Anet for the other Fixes but you should have addressed that problem first.
Dont mistake this for a rant on minipets and custimized

i just think that the only shrine that should be account bassed is the Minis i have 40+ minis 1 of each and would love to cram them all into the HOM but than i wuold not beable to show my mini aatxe with my necro or my Charr with my monk you get the drift i like certine minis to show at certain times like when we are killing fire imps i love to have the imp out, but if i was to cramm all my minis on my main char into his HOM than i would no beable to admire my aatxe when doing UW and the other thing was that the minis should be storred in the HOM once u put them in their unstead of haveing them in it as well as still takeing up space in your invintory or storage.
again this is y people have not said TY we love the new changes its just they did not change the Main Problem

Gee, nobody posted a thread thanking ANET? Oh my god! What if they get pissed off and shut down the servers?!! Well, I suppose its rectified now.
Now that we have thanked ANET, could someone direct me to the post where ANET thanks all the community for giving them millions and millions of dollars in income?

please note that guru did not always have that asshat feel that it has now with it seeming to be officially sanctioned open season on Anet and its people.

one example which is still uo and not deleted/edited/banned

QUIT PUTTING RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOING SKILLS IN THE GAME THEN 2 WEEKS LATER RENDERING THEM USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO BE THAT "POWERFUL" THEN DON'T MAKE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE ASS HOLES!!
a year and a half ago a post calling the Anet people ASSHOLES wou;d have been removed on the spot and the top admin would have swung the banstick so fast you would only see a blur.

this place has really changed and is starting to look a bit like TGH instead of guru.

downgrade from elite status in the future maybe?

now it is not even edited

I still need to be rank 12 hero or rank9 in other pvp titles don't I...

There's no way I'm trippling my current fame -__- Rank10 is so far from rank12.

Because the GWG community is a bunch of whiners who are never happy. I can see it now... new topic:

"CHANGE BACK THE HOM CHANGES!!! I LIKED SEEING THE OTHER ARMOR BETTER"

And the same people who were complaining before would be the ones complaining there.

Awwwwww, you poor baby! Anet isn't listening to your every demand with complete disregard for their own wants and needs. I feel so horrible that people have to go through things like this, and I wish there was something I could do.

Thank you Anet, you've rekindled my original love for the game that I first had when playing through Prophecies.

Well, I for one am thanking them.

I havn't used it yet, but it looks like it's a step in the right direction.

And as far as people complaining here; well, this is where all the complaints to Anet are redirected when you email them. And for the most part, I imagine a majority people coming here are becuase they got so riled up about something in the game that they just had to tell someone about it.

Quote:
How is there no "Thank you to Anet for the Hom Changes" thread?!
Less than 14 hours after the game was launched, all of that time while a pretty big majority was either asleep, at school, or at work. Also you just started one!
